There are a few complexing puzzles going on in silent hill, so i will try and go through all of them step by step to tell you how to solve them

How to get to Midwich Elementary School after finding Cheryl's paper in the alley:

• First what you have to do is get to Matheson St. on the west end and examine the bloody papers. The only one you can pick up says "dog house  levin st." This is pretty self explanatory if you ask me. Go to Levin st. (coming from the south it's the house on the left with a doghouse and 2 dogs running around in front. Run to the doghouse, grab the key and enter the house right near the doghouse(the house with the doghouse in front). Go to the back and find the door with 3 locks. Oh my gosh now what to do?! Look at the map hanging on the wall right next to the locked door and you will copy it to your map. There are 3 marks now added to your map..that you should follow to get the keys.
• Key of Lion: Finney st. in trunk of police car.
• Key of Woodman: Alley between Finney and Matheson st. Half way through the alley is a fenced off area with "Off Limits" signs. Go through the gates and grab the key in the pool of blood(near the dog head..hehe..i wonder if someone was actually playing basketball with that dog's head).
• Key of Scarecrow: probably the toughest to find because it's off to the side of the road..Go to Ellroy st. all the way to the end and you will hit a dead end..but to the right of the dead end if you wander over there..you will see a plank of wood..that can bring you to another little section where you can find the key in the mailbox.
• Now return to the house on Levin st. and you can no procede to Midwich Elementary! YAY!

• Well, in order to unlock the Clock Tower you need two medallions; silver and gold. In order to get the Gold Medallion you must first get the Chemicals from the Lab Storage Room on the second floor. Then you must go to the Chemistry Lab and use the Chemicals on the "hand" on the counter to get the Gold Medallion. With Gold Medallion in hand, go back to the clock tower and put it in it's place. Now this will unlock the Piano allowing you to get the Silver Medallion.
• Go to the Music Room, and look at the bloody note on the chalkboard. It reads:

"A tale of birds without a voice"

First flew the greedy PELICAN, White wings flailingeager for the reward

Then came a silent DOVE, flying beyond the pelican as far as he could

A RAVEN flies in, flying higher from the DOVE, just to show that he can

A SWAN glides in, to find a peaceful spot, next to another bird

Finally out comes a CROW, coming quickly to a stop, yawning and then napping

Who will show the way? Who will be the key? Who will tend to the Silver Reward?

• Ok guys, now i know you're thinking what the hell does that mean. It's really quite simple though. Now go over to the piano, and play it. After using all the keys you will notice some of them don't produce a sound...just a kind of stunter noise. That is what the poem is talking about when it says "silent voice." And as for all the birds..you have to think which bird is white and which is black according to the piano keys and you have to think of what they do.

• 1. "First flew the greedy PELICAN". Pelican is a white bird..so this means you have to hit the first(from right to left) dead white key.

• 2.  "Then came a silent DOVE, flying beyond the pelican as far as he could." This means that the Dove(white bird) is the furthest away dead white button..so the white dead key all the way to the left.

• 3. "A RAVEN flies in, flying higher from the DOVE." This means that the Raven, which is a black bird, went even farther then the dove which was the last white key. So he is the last black dead key.

• 4. "A SWAN glides in, to find a peaceful spot, next to another bird." This one is easy because there is only one dead white key left which is left of the dove.

• 5. "Finally out comes a CROW, coming quickly to a stop, yawning and then napping." This means that the crow is the first dead black key, closest to the right.

• If you press these "dead keys" in order, the Silver Medallion is yours for the taking. Grab it and head back to the clock tower and put it in it's place. Voila! You have now opened the Clock Tower! YAY!

• First turn the right hand valve wheel twice to the right, then stop. Go to the left hand valve wheel and turn it twice to the left. YAY!

The Zodiac Puzzle:

• The solution to this puzzle is to go from right to left plaques and click on the leftmost:6, middle:4, rightmost:8. It has something to do with the amount of legs each thing has. /shrug
