Well I actually went back and looked up my old beastiary and took a look at the actual strategy guide I have for Silent Hill and was a little dissapointed to see that the "official" mob names are kind of boring. Oh Well - here goes. BTW, I'll add pics soon!

Old Name: Translucent Baby Ghost Official Name: Apparition Description: They set off your radio - scare the crap out of you - and squeak a lot. But they don't hurt you, so you can't complain too much.

Old Name: Monkey Man Official Name: Demon Ape Description: These guys can be very annoying especially if they manage to pounce on you. They can hold you down for quite awhile and move very quickly so it's best to just avoid them.

Old Name: Gargoyle Official Name: Demon Bird Description: Annoying flying things that follow you all over town - just avoid them as they're not hard to miss if you run a zig-zag!

Old Name: Zombie Brat Official Name: Demon Child Description: They haunt the Midwich School and can be a total pain in the butt! I usually make sure to shoot them all before they get close to me (if I can). Best to just elminate them as they don't take too much ammo to down.

Old Name: Zombie Dog Official Name: Demon Dog (not much difference I know) Description: Another annoying thing that chases you around the streets of Silent Hill. Avoid when possible as they can be somewhat difficult to down.

Old Name: Mutant Turtles (not teenaged though!) Official Name: Sewer Demon Description: They cling to the ceilings in the sewers and hit you from above! Avoid if possible!

Old Name: No old name (can you believe I left them out!) Official Name: Giant Sewer Rat (lmao!) Description: They aren't around much in the game but they can hit hard. Luckily they're easily disposed of with some quick shots.

Old Name: Translucent Zombie Brat Official Name: Invisible Demon Child Description: They hit like a truck so don't mess around with them. Shoot to kill or run!

Old Name: Cockroach Official Name: Giant Cockroach (no shit!) Description: Shoot or step on 'em!

Old Name: Zombie Nurse Official Name: Zombie Nurse (AND WE HAVE A MATCH!) Description: Can be pests especially when in large packs. Beat them or shoot them from a distance.

Old Name: Zombie Doctor Official Name: Undead Doctor (aww so close) Description: These guys hit hard so shoot them as soon as you see them!
