Harry MasonHarry Mason is kind of a doofus. He means well though and spends a lot of his time wandering around a hellish Silent Hill to prove it. He's looking for his daughter, short, black...hair?

Cheryl MasonCheryl Mason doesn't really play much of a part in this game and yet is the central focus of it. She never really talks except to ask her dad, Harry, to help her in some eerie way. Even then, we don't know if it's really "her" but she still serves her point as being Harry's reason for trucking through Silent Hill.

Dahlia GillespieDahlia Gillespie is a barefoot hippy! She talks about strange things like flauros and gyromancy. You can't help but feel like you're being suckered into something bad by her, but you don't have much of a choice as, well, Harry is kind of dumb. =\

Alessa GillespieAlessa Gillespie, Dahlia's daughter, it's not clear what exactly happened to her, but you run into her many times throughout the game as almost an apparition. There are also remnants of her stay at the Alchemilla Hospital.

Dr. KaughmanDr. Kaughman definately seems to be in league somehow with Dahlia although it's unclear how exactly. He is very cold towards Harry for most of the game and is also the holder of a "special" liquid called Aglophotis. Why he has it, and what he plans to do with it are unknown until the end. ;)

Lisa GarlandLisa Garland is a poor soul somehow involved in the care for Alessa and the hell of Silent Hill. How or exactly why she is there when she seemed as though she was very kind to Alessa is not clear.
